Spaghetti with Artichoke Tomato Sauce

We have a week of gray, cold and rain-ish weather again, but I am ok with it, because my major job this week is lawn care. Digging up the lawn is much easier when it is cold outside, and fertilizers and pesticides sink in better when it rains. – As long as the weather gets better again next week.

After 2h of extracurricular exercise in the garden and an aching back, stylish hunter boots, lululemon  running crops and a brandnew Victoria secret long hoodie all covered in mud (gotta be stylish, right? ) I was ready for a hearty pasta dish. I went back to the trusty Prego light smart sauce, threw in some added capers, freshly grated garlic, a handful of frozen artichokes from Trader Joes, some kale and 2 anchovies. Added the cooked spaghetti. Pour some red wine. Delicious.
