Last week I picked up a bundle of “greens” from the farmers market section within Chase’s Daily. I am not even sure if these greens are for sauteing or a salad, but their coarse texture made me cook them lightly. For the most part I am not even sure which plant they are, but then Chase’s has likely the most exotic vegetable around these regions. Today, I picked up a gimme lean ground beef sausage, and cooked some with shallots, a dash of zathar and sumac and well as cinnamon – a delight! Lunch was rounded out with some tomatoes.
